Friday night was fun - Rich and I tried to get into a few different bars, but they were full (rugby weekend...), so we ended up in the Dome, having a good chat for HOURS. A good end to the week.
Unfortunately, on Saturday Scotland got hammered at rugby by England. Our boys played well, but our kicker was way out of form/luck, missing three or four efforts. England were the better side, but a 3-29 score does not accurately reflect the difference in quality of play!
Last night then turned into something of a film-fest. First up was This Year's Love, which was OK - nothing fantastic. As good an actress as Kathy Burke is, I just can't take her out of Harry Enfield sketches.
This morning, I discovered that Morpheus, my P2P software of choice (think Napster) has got a big ole security hole, allowing people to potentially look at my hard drive. The computer I run Morpheus on is very well firewalled, but people can still get files from me via Morpheus ... so my usage is currently stopped. :-(

![]() | Next up was a good Robert Altman film, Cookie's Fortune. Altman's work is always interesting, and requires thought to watch - this is no different, and was an enjoyable contrast to This Year's Love. |
| The evening rounded off with a Richard Linklater film, Dazed and Confused. I've seen this film so many times, and it always makes me feel happy. The acting and story have nothing special in them, but the whole movie effect is enjoyable to the max! | ![]() |

I had the displeasure of m eeting kathy burke, on a train, and I have to tell you she is a real burk. She was ramming in frongt of people, and telling people, to get out the way, and then she started moaning about all the people, on the train. She is a crap actor, and crappy comedian. I ahve heard she thinks she is a good looker, i would rank her a s real ugly
