Sometimes the Internet makes me laugh. Using MSN Messenger to talk to my parents back home and my brother in Australia is one of these times. However, using the much mightier Yahoo! Messenger to connect with Rich on the other side of Edinburgh and Jams in Adelaide ... as well as a full camera from each location makes me laugh very hard. Here's a screenshot of the proceedings. (NOTE: I was not looking at any dodgy sites, before you ask - the 'Ars...' at the bottom(!) of the screen refers to a wonderful tech site, Ars Technica.)

I work for moviebank, usually at the Stockbridge shop. The branch at Newington closed but if you go to either Broughton St, Stockbridge or Dalry and explain that you were a customer there then you get your money transferred and £10 credit for free for all the hassle. The Tollcross branch is run by another franchise owner so not sure about that one... The Broughton branch is easily the best with a huge back catalogue and all the new releases, plus tons of indie/arthouse. As for being a rip-off the staff are usually very accommodating and there are no late fees charged, all you need to do is pop in between 2-10pm and talk with one of us and we'll put your balance back to zero so you don't lose out on any money if it's in the red. That said, I was member of Alphabet before I worked here and it is pretty damn good, I miss old video-shops like that.

Oh yeah, we also sell ice-cream!!!
