I arrived on time last night to see Rob Hall and the Freewheelers at the Bridge Jazz Bar. Rob and his 'Wheelers decided to take it relaxed though, and only started just before ten! My kind of guys. The place itself is very nice and makes quite a change from Henry's, which is a proper underground jazz bar ... but it is so hard to see the stage from many angles and often costs quite a lot. I expect to visit the Bridge quite some more in the weeks to come.
The festival is coming ... and town is now getting REALLY busy. I am planning to take a week of holiday, so hopefully I will actually get to see some shows.
