Since seeing the film, I have believed that we are actually living in The Matrix, or at least something very similar in construct. There now seems to be some further thinking on that.
When Senor Carlos was here, he told us that The Matrix film borrow quite a few ideas from Buddhism (which interests me). Have a look here here and here for more on that. Some good reading in there.
