8 Femmes

Today has involved a leisurely lunch, bumping into Sam (he was dying for a mention on my site ;-), some shopping and then seeing 8 Femmes (English site here). Again, it was very different from what Rich and I have seen over previous days, but that is half the fun. It was an entertaining story with plenty of good twists throughout, including one final twist at the end. The actresses were all nice to look at, too!

I work for moviebank, usually at the Stockbridge shop. The branch at Newington closed but if you go to either Broughton St, Stockbridge or Dalry and explain that you were a customer there then you get your money transferred and £10 credit for free for all the hassle. The Tollcross branch is run by another franchise owner so not sure about that one... The Broughton branch is easily the best with a huge back catalogue and all the new releases, plus tons of indie/arthouse. As for being a rip-off the staff are usually very accommodating and there are no late fees charged, all you need to do is pop in between 2-10pm and talk with one of us and we'll put your balance back to zero so you don't lose out on any money if it's in the red. That said, I was member of Alphabet before I worked here and it is pretty damn good, I miss old video-shops like that.

Oh yeah, we also sell ice-cream!!!
