Was coerced into buying lunch at Pret A Manger today, and noticed they have sandwich recipes on the container.  Are they taking sandwich making open source?  ;-)

They probably put it on so that you read it and think "bloody hell, I couldn't make that - better just buy one". Making you realise just how much effort goes into their sandwiches.

I guess they're banking on the fact that, while people like to *believe* they could go off and make their own sandwiches that are just as good, they will probably end up thinking "I can't be arsed" and pop back to the sandwich shop instead.
