Weekend

My weekend was fun, once again. On Friday I saw Wimbledon. It should have been Bride and Prejudice, but I had a small ticket-ordering problem. ;-) Film was OK (better than I feared ;-), and full couch action with beers to hand was in operation, which made the whole experience so much nicer.

On Saturday, I went out to The Stand for some comedy. Three great comedians, one poor. Good hit rate!

Yesterday I visited Robbie and Max, and took Max out to the park, before reading the papers. Ahhhh...

I work for moviebank, usually at the Stockbridge shop. The branch at Newington closed but if you go to either Broughton St, Stockbridge or Dalry and explain that you were a customer there then you get your money transferred and £10 credit for free for all the hassle. The Tollcross branch is run by another franchise owner so not sure about that one... The Broughton branch is easily the best with a huge back catalogue and all the new releases, plus tons of indie/arthouse. As for being a rip-off the staff are usually very accommodating and there are no late fees charged, all you need to do is pop in between 2-10pm and talk with one of us and we'll put your balance back to zero so you don't lose out on any money if it's in the red. That said, I was member of Alphabet before I worked here and it is pretty damn good, I miss old video-shops like that.

Oh yeah, we also sell ice-cream!!!
