Two Sponsorship Opportunities

Two people, one friend and one cousin of a friend of a friend are doing quality challenges for charity:

my colleague Debbie, in California, is doing a massive walk into the Grand Canyon for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. See her hike information and sponsorship details here.
the cousin of a FOAF, is doing a MENTAL cycle, from Perth in Scotland to Perth in Australia. It's going to take her one year to complete, and she's cycling in aid of the British Heart Foundation and WorldVision. Her site with route information, photos and a report is here. She started yesterday, the 19th.

Very best wishes to both attempts; I'll be tracking Rhona's progress over the year.

I work for moviebank, usually at the Stockbridge shop. The branch at Newington closed but if you go to either Broughton St, Stockbridge or Dalry and explain that you were a customer there then you get your money transferred and £10 credit for free for all the hassle. The Tollcross branch is run by another franchise owner so not sure about that one... The Broughton branch is easily the best with a huge back catalogue and all the new releases, plus tons of indie/arthouse. As for being a rip-off the staff are usually very accommodating and there are no late fees charged, all you need to do is pop in between 2-10pm and talk with one of us and we'll put your balance back to zero so you don't lose out on any money if it's in the red. That said, I was member of Alphabet before I worked here and it is pretty damn good, I miss old video-shops like that.

Oh yeah, we also sell ice-cream!!!
