Despite the reason for being in Italy was to get to Croatia, we've decided to remain in the boot. I'd have turned a four-day visit into a speed tour of the country, when what we both want to do is totally relax. To that end, we traversed the country once more and are again in Tuscany, staying at La Crocetta in San Casciano dei Bagni (www.agriturismolacrocetta.it). We were attracted by the promise of delicious food made by one of the owners, and were VERY happy with dinner last night. Right now we're lying in lhe garden, pondering a wander into San Casciano for a lunchtime beer. :-D

I work for moviebank, usually at the Stockbridge shop. The branch at Newington closed but if you go to either Broughton St, Stockbridge or Dalry and explain that you were a customer there then you get your money transferred and £10 credit for free for all the hassle. The Tollcross branch is run by another franchise owner so not sure about that one... The Broughton branch is easily the best with a huge back catalogue and all the new releases, plus tons of indie/arthouse. As for being a rip-off the staff are usually very accommodating and there are no late fees charged, all you need to do is pop in between 2-10pm and talk with one of us and we'll put your balance back to zero so you don't lose out on any money if it's in the red. That said, I was member of Alphabet before I worked here and it is pretty damn good, I miss old video-shops like that.

He's either got lost and doesn't know who he is, like most Saturday nights, or is playing with a new overcomplicated phone in geek heaven.

Hazel, Martino, you are in my hometown! I am sure you had a superb time in Madrid. I took Eric there and we didn't get to sleep much - its that kind of town! The photos look awesome and you and Hazel look very loved up (love that)! ;)
