Things I just don't have enough time to post about more fully:
- our geocache had a second visitor
- Geograph is aiming to do what the degree confluence project is doing, but at a much higher resolution. They're trying to photograph every square kilometer of the British Isles
- the Google Maps API is getting props, and there's plenty of innovation appearing
- Russ has two posts on podcasting for mobile. I think I need a 3G phone with a phat data allowance!
- Tom has unveiled his mobile Sudoku, which he's been working on with Puzzler Media. I'm trying to resist downloading it, for fear of losing even more time
- Carlo has published an open letter to Curra's Grill, Burnet Road Location, asking them to buck up their service. I'm following his lead, and asking Sandwich Stack on Earl Grey Street to get more soup in. Most mornings I have meetings until 12.30 or 1pm. By the time I arrive at the shop, there's no soup. Given there is another hour of normal people needing fed, they are losing revenue, not to mention frustrating people. Please sort it out!
- Tom points to an article on the rise of mobile photography, something I kind-of wrote about the same thing two years ago on Mobitopia
Comments
I'll back you up on the Sandwich Stack - nothing more annoying than not getting the soup. I can recommend La Baguette down Lothian Road for when Sandwich Stack has run out - their tomato + basil soup is great.
Hey Nick -- it looks like they've taken notice: more soup is available every day! :-D
