Job Progress

OK, this is a first here, but it has been OK'd. The company I work for (investment management) based in Edinburgh has a job for a Progress developer (I think this is this kind of Progress, but I'm not sure). The job is permanent and based in Edinburgh. If you're interested, let me know and I'll pass on a link to the full details.

Big disclaimer: I'm not speaking for my employer here; this is my personal blog. I'm posting here because I know there's a good number of Edinburgh-based technical people reading and it's a quick way to reach you.

I work for moviebank, usually at the Stockbridge shop. The branch at Newington closed but if you go to either Broughton St, Stockbridge or Dalry and explain that you were a customer there then you get your money transferred and £10 credit for free for all the hassle. The Tollcross branch is run by another franchise owner so not sure about that one... The Broughton branch is easily the best with a huge back catalogue and all the new releases, plus tons of indie/arthouse. As for being a rip-off the staff are usually very accommodating and there are no late fees charged, all you need to do is pop in between 2-10pm and talk with one of us and we'll put your balance back to zero so you don't lose out on any money if it's in the red. That said, I was member of Alphabet before I worked here and it is pretty damn good, I miss old video-shops like that.

Oh yeah, we also sell ice-cream!!!
