I'm finding less time to update my blog these days, but my flickr photostream is often updated.

On Sunday at 6am, smoking was banned in enclosed public places in Scotland, most notably pubs and restaurants. Saturday night sounded like a very busy night in the pubs, with plenty of last draws being taken.

From watching and reading the news, the change seems to be generally welcomed, with very few people flouting the law. Let's hope the expected improvements in health are seen.

The absense of the usual smoke fog in the JJ was very noticeable on Sunday evening. Not sure the one or two smokers huddled outside in the rain were enjoying anything to do with the ban though.
