For Christmas, my sister gave me Jamie Oliver's Italian cookbook. Following Rich's construction of cocktails 'from first principles' (name that quote, Heriot-Watt alumni), I decided to try these fried pizzas. They were *absolutely* delicious. Main course was sausages with tomato salsa on lentils, which got thumbs up too. Cooking rocks!

I work for moviebank, usually at the Stockbridge shop. The branch at Newington closed but if you go to either Broughton St, Stockbridge or Dalry and explain that you were a customer there then you get your money transferred and £10 credit for free for all the hassle. The Tollcross branch is run by another franchise owner so not sure about that one... The Broughton branch is easily the best with a huge back catalogue and all the new releases, plus tons of indie/arthouse. As for being a rip-off the staff are usually very accommodating and there are no late fees charged, all you need to do is pop in between 2-10pm and talk with one of us and we'll put your balance back to zero so you don't lose out on any money if it's in the red. That said, I was member of Alphabet before I worked here and it is pretty damn good, I miss old video-shops like that.

He's either got lost and doesn't know who he is, like most Saturday nights, or is playing with a new overcomplicated phone in geek heaven.

Hazel, Martino, you are in my hometown! I am sure you had a superb time in Madrid. I took Eric there and we didn't get to sleep much - its that kind of town! The photos look awesome and you and Hazel look very loved up (love that)! ;)
