Two items of tech, now. First, where the hell is the P990 (my next phone)? Well, AllAboutSymbian are now quoting August. Yes, I'm crying. It was meant to be November last year!

Number two, for Simon, ADSLMax, which is meant to give up to 8Mb download speeds, is still something of a damp squib. I've been synched at that speed since day one, and the best I've ever had is 6Mb download. It's a waiting game -- waiting for BT to realise that if a service is offered at 'up to 8Mb', people who are a few hundred metres from the exchange are actually expecting to *get* 8Mb.

I work for moviebank, usually at the Stockbridge shop. The branch at Newington closed but if you go to either Broughton St, Stockbridge or Dalry and explain that you were a customer there then you get your money transferred and £10 credit for free for all the hassle. The Tollcross branch is run by another franchise owner so not sure about that one... The Broughton branch is easily the best with a huge back catalogue and all the new releases, plus tons of indie/arthouse. As for being a rip-off the staff are usually very accommodating and there are no late fees charged, all you need to do is pop in between 2-10pm and talk with one of us and we'll put your balance back to zero so you don't lose out on any money if it's in the red. That said, I was member of Alphabet before I worked here and it is pretty damn good, I miss old video-shops like that.

Oh yeah, we also sell ice-cream!!!
