If technology doesn't seem like magic, it's probably obsolete

I'm finding less time to update my blog these days, but my flickr photostream is often updated.

Playing in my house right now...

As reported a few weeks back, Janice and her husband Dylan are doing the Loony Dook (swimming in the Firth of Forth on the 1st of January) in aid of the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association as their daughter Ellie has Prader-Willi Syndrome.

Please give generously. You need to be very foolish brave to take the challenge, and it is for an extremely worthwhile cause.

SomaFM independent internet radio

SomaFM, providers of fine tunes on the internet uninterrupted by advertising, need to raise $25,000 before the end of December to cover bills and operational expenses. Have a listen, and if you like what you hear, drop them a few dollars.

If you have a 3G phone and a decent data plan, you may like to check out the 3GP streams. Listening to Internet radio as you walk home is the way forward.

Congratulations to Iain Spink on winning the UKTV Food Local Food Hero for Scotland; Rich and I tasted them at the Edinburgh Farmers' Market and can confirm they are very tasty. Tonight is the grand final.
