Wan Dae Racing in the Pentlands

Last weekend was the third and final in the 2007 series of the Wan Dae adventure races, which took place in the Pentland Hills just outside Edinburgh.
My plans for a partner didn’t quite come to fruition, so I had to sign up as a one-man team for the shorter 5 hour race, but managed to find some others to cover most of the course with.
The weather was fantastic, and the course took us around parts of the Pentlands I’ve never been to, but will definitely be going back to.
Great fun, and next year I’ll be doing the whole series.
