Columbus Tower, Francis Ford Coppola's flatiron-esque building, home to his production company and Cafe Niebaum~Coppola. There's an irish bar near there called Kells with a very stroppy *English* waitress. Go insult her for me.
Hey Paul, thanks for the info. Amusingly, we were stopped *just* before taking this picture by a group of Dutch guys, looking for Kells, which I could visualise, but couldn't point them to... Next time I'm near it, I'll visit and see if the waitress is still there. Would she recognise your name? ;-)
Nah, we didn't exchange many pleasantries! Have you checked out Edinburgh Castle - the Scottish pub on Geary I think where you can get proper fish and chips!
We had a look at Edinburgh Castle bar. It looked an utter dive so we didn't go in!
