Part of the last.fm fun is that it gives recommendations to you of artists to check out -- essentially 'it' is learning from all the different members about who likes what and what else they like. For the first time I had a look at my 'recommended' page, and it is pretty spot on. Based on the tiny sample I've given it, the albums it thinks I've missed, I've actually got. They're the core of my collection, almost. My playlist definitly needs some more electronica (and last.fm needs to recognise it, too), and *then* I'll be interested to see what it's advising me!

what the hell have you got in your collection that it recommended 4 sting albums as being similar?!
Stuart -- yeah, my profile radio was good, but a little bit too much like listening to all my own CDs!
Allan -- not sure, exactly. Do you think I should take it personally? ;-))

Have you listened to your profile radio? That's another good way of discovering new tracks.
