If technology doesn't seem like magic, it's probably obsolete

I'm finding less time to update my blog these days, but my flickr photostream is often updated.

Playing in my house right now...

As Rich said, Burts Crisps tell you who made them, as well as which field the potatoes came from.

This website has gone downhill badly. Where's the geek tech nerdiness gone? There's a lot more going on in the world than people making crisps. WinMX has been taken offline and you haven't even noticed. Aren't you concerned about the attacks on p2p, and where your next art movie download is coming from? No all you care about is a packet of crisps.

Yes, Neil, there hasn't been any technical content at all in the whole month of September. Is this a record for the geekmeister?

It is all about the seasalt and vinegar crisps. The chilli ones are good, as are the rock lobster, but the S&V ones take the prize. Fantastic. Technically I am not meant to be eating crisps, but I always manage to sneak in a bag of these a week.

Oh, and Neil has a point - where is all the tech stuff. You have become all soft and fuzzy in your old age. That is what ravu ravu does to you (no, not the pasta sauce). You need to at least pretend to be a geek once every month of so, otherwise the chicks wont dig you no more. Hey, chicks love the scrawny geeks!

Neil, Simon -- I'll do my best to get back to the tech. It's just a lull.

Granty -- I didn't think they'd be worth trying, but if you're recommending them, a packet will need to be quality checked. I'll report back.
