My good friend James is here from Grenoble, but the Ankle Curse has taken hold and his is duffed up. Any ideas on what we could do tomorrow? James is originally from Fife, so knows the whole area very well. I’ll have a car, so travelling isn’t a problem.

I read this book on holiday after accidentally buying it, thinking it was about actually doing yoga, but easily. Anyway, Yoga for People Who Can’t Be Bothered wends it’s way through a few different genres, at times straight travelogue at times Zen and Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. Worth a read, and I’m planning to pick up some of Geoff Dyer‘s other books.

Just back from a fantastic week with Hazel’s family in Javea on the Costa Blanca. Apart from the first day when it absolutely poured, we had fantastic weather, great food and a lot of fun.
It was really nice to totally switch off, do some reading and enjoy the sunshine … before heading on to the London Rat Race.
