For years and years I’ve wanted way to see realtime bus times in Edinburgh, and there has been a start in putting up live times at bus stops, but finally MyBusTracker has been launched, and it is awesome.
You can search by map or route, pick a stop, and then check the times for all buses going past. There’s even a mobile version.
Based on some basic and quick checks today though, there does seem to be a small downside: the times being reported aren’t terribly accurate, and don’t even tie up with the times being displayed at the bus stop itself. I’m sure that’s something being worked on, to improve already. Wonderful to finally see the system live though…
